1. Representative Mark Honadel wants to do a fingerprint scan of all children in Wisconsin Shares funded child care in the state. The ACLU is worried about it stigmatizing children and discriminating based on race and class. We spoke to Honadel and Chris Ahmuty of the ACLU.
2. The Assembly is considering an override of AB138, which would have made the DNR secretary no longer an appointee of the governor. We spoke to Spencer Black (the bill's author) and Adam Collins of the Governor's office.
3. The Assembly is taking up that Payday Loan bill tomorrow. We discussed a better way to get short-term loans with Ginny Gendelmen, Executive Director of the rently-opened Jewish Free Loan Association of Milwaukee. We were unable to reach the Center for Repsonsible Lending about the Payday Loan Bill itself.
4. We had a live interview with unfortuntely-named Americorps volunteer Stephanie Ricketts about improving the food in our public schools. She's associated with Research Education and Action Policy Food Group.
5. Frank Emspak did a short interview with Civil Rights pioneer Reverend Jim Sessions, who is speaking at the Interfaith Coalition for Workers Justice's 10th annual Faith Labor Breakfast tomorrow morning.

3. The state began it's early prisoner-release program. We spoke to John Dipko, spokesman for the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, and Alice Pauser, a lobbyist for Wisconsin Women's Prison Issues.
4. And the DPI threatened to withhold a lot of money from Milwaukee Public Schools over No Child Left Behind compliance.... We spoke to Bob Peterson of Rethinking Schools.
